For the first time in its history, Coca-Cola has released an alcoholic version of its famous drink. The company is testing the idea in Japan and the new product will be ready to drink alcoholic drink which will be made from spirit shōchū, carbonated water, and lemon.
It will be available in many flavors such as lime and grapefruit.
“We haven’t experimented in the low alcohol category before, but it’s an example of how we continue to explore opportunities outside our core areas,” a coco-cola representative noted.
The officials also dropped a bad news saying that the experiment might only be limited to Japan and that they might not take the idea beyond the country.
