Amazon is making an aggressive entry into the food market. And their latest move sees them selling their own meal kits. The Amazon-branded gourmet dishes are available through AmazonFresh, which is the grocery service of Amazon.
The Giant had earlier filed a trademark for ‘Prepared food kits’ earlier this month and it was an indication of their intentions. The meals offered apparently include tacos al pastor, and steak au poivre with parmesan fries and snap peas. The food kits come around at $15-$19 and the exact amount has not been frozen as of now.
