Blackheads: This food item can help you

Blackheads are small bumps that appear on your skin due to clogged hair follicles. They are a mild type of acne that usually form on the face, back, neck, chest, arms, and shoulders. The top of the blackhead, which is visible on the surface of the skin, has a dark colour.

Blackheads form when the opening of a hair follicle becomes clogged or plugged with dead skin cells and oil. This material gets oxidized by the air and appears black, hence the name blackhead.

Apple cider vinegar is a great remedy against the issue. It has antibacterial properties. Besides unblocking the pores, apple cider vinegar maintains the pH of your skin, controlling pimples and acne, thereby making your skin clearer.

  • Mix two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with two tablespoons of water.
  • Mix the solution and soak a cotton ball with it.
  • Apply it in the blackheads directly using the soaked cotton balls.
  • You can repeat this procedure on alternate days to achieve a desirable result.

Blackheads cannot be scrubbed away. Rubbing or scrubbing hard only causes irritation. And this, in turn, can result in redness, irritation, or permanent scarring.
