The materials which are used to serve short-order food items could be the source of some harmful synthetic chemicals according to new studies.

The paper which is commonly used to serve fried chicken, French fries, burritos and donuts apparently has chemicals which is resistant to grease and heat.

These chemicals have been also linked with diverse health risks in a new study published in Environmental Science and Technology letters.
