China to make change in food regulations

China has decided to tighten its hold on food regulations. A new five year plan has been introduced after almost a 1.1 million cases related to food safety was flagged in the country from 2013 to 2015.

As a result, around 300 food safety regulations will be revised. The plans require whole-process control and whole chain regulation on food and drugs, especially on source control and risk prevention according to a report.
