China makes huge step in food safety

All countries out there are making huge strides to improve their food security and China has also made a similar move. A bold move from the nation has seen them revising their 2020 regulatory targets in order to curb illegal activity and make food safer.

The surveillance measures for imported and exported good were changed and also, the limits of pesticide and antibiotic residues allowed were also increased.

Around 50 countries are expected to export food products to China for safety assessments and for food inspection alone, China has planned to set up around 20 ports.
