If you are a regular eater of Red Meat, you could be contributing to climate change more than you think. According to one of the studied conducted, it was found that meat production is one of the major reasons for greenhouse gas emissions.

And with the world population expected to grow in the coming year, we are heading into uncharted territories.

Beef, in particular, is a big issue.

“Beef uses more land and freshwater and generates more greenhouse gas emissions per unit of protein than any other commonly consumed food,” the paper says.

The study highlighted the issue that our eating habits have on the environment.
