The impact that our diet has on cancer cells are often overlooked. The impact that medical treatment has on them can be magnified with the correct food intake and recent studies suggest that combining Vitamin C and antibiotics can kill cancer cells.
The study was conducted by the researchers at the University of Salford in the United Kingdom. And it showed that antibiotic, doxycycline, along with Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) were 100 times more effective than standard drugs which are used to kill cancer cells.
The combination apparently stopped cancer cells from switching their fuel source and in turn, making them metabolically inflexible.
