Czech Beer Company Aurosa probably had good intentions when they came out with their new ‘Beer for Her’ campaign. The idea was to create a new beer for women and it even came in a pretty gray bottle.
“Aurosa was born to prove that women can succeed anywhere without having to adapt and sacrifice their natural femininity, She stands for all phenomenal women, she stands for all their successes and beautiful moments. She is here to remind them how important and exceptional they are. She is here to celebrate femininity in all its forms.” The description on the company website read.
However, the concept received a huge backlash on Social media. A portion of the people slammed the company for showcasing ‘sexism’ whereas some women posted photos of their beer collection and sarcastically thanked the inventors.
