According to a research conducted at the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom, watching advertisements about processed food items made children to eat more junk food. This, in turn, led to the increased risk of obesity.
Children who saw such food advertisements ate more junk food in comparison to children who were shown toy advertisements as per the study. The numbers were staggering as well the consumption increased by around 134%.
