Recently, a Massachusetts-based company had come out with a finding that cranberry juice had the ability to fight against Urinary Tract Infections.
However, these claims are not shot down by scientists and the US Food and Drug Administration. Though there are some researchers that suggest that Cranberry can prevent bacteria from attaching to the cells of the urinary tract, there have been many other studies which negate this idea.
A recent study conducted in November 2016 showed no links between drinking cranberry juice and urinary infections. This mixed bag of results is what worked for the company mentioned earlier and their request to promote cranberry as a healthy choice has been put on hold by the scientists and the FDA.
