For instance, replacing the regular cooking oil with canola oil can actually help you during the condition. Derived from the rapeseed plant, the canola oil is rich in omega-3 fatty acid which comes in the form of alpha-linolenic acid.

“A study conducted by Dr. David Jenkins from the University of Toronto showed that canola oil helps in lowering blood sugar levels and bad cholesterol in people with type 2 diabetes.” A report noted
