Around 500 Domino’s outlets in India are all set to make a huge step in the nation ahead of Navratri. The outlets will not serve non-vegetarian food items during the nine-day time period starting from October 1 next month.
With India being one of the important markets for Domino’s outside the United States, this should not be seen as a surprise. The franchise has more than 1,000 stores in the nation spread across 250 cities. From this, the outlets in the Northern and central states will avoid non-vegetarian food items for nine whole days.
We are conscious about consumer needs
“Consumption of non-vegetarian food reduces significantly during this time. This move is an acknowledgement that though we are a global brand, we are conscious about consumer needs. It’s about making a statement to consumers,” Domino’s Pizza India President, Dev Amritesh told.
Ahead of the Navratri season, Domino’s is also offering numerous offers for its customers in an attempt to sell more products before to the non-vegetarian meals are avoided from the menu.
