Eating these food items can delay your menopause

A new research study conducted at the Leeds University in the United Kingdom has found that having a diet which is rich in legumes and fish can delay your menopause. Contrastingly, a diet with the rich presence of Carbohydrates can accelerate the whole thing.

“Our findings confirm that diet may be associated with the age at natural menopause. This may be relevant at a public health level since age at natural menopause may have implications on future health outcomes,” said the researchers.

The study was conducted with the help of food frequency questionnaires which was given out to around 35,000 British-based women.
