Eating white rice during pregnancy could do this to your baby

A new study published in the American Journal of Clinical nutrition notes that eating white rice during pregnancy can increase the risk of obesity for the new born. The research was based on around 918 mother-child pairs from the United States. It was found that the safer limit was below 37 grams per day.

Earlier, obesity in new born was linked with stress during pregnancy. Another study had suggested that high consumption of fish was also linked with obesity.
