Even though chop sticks have been used for more than 6,000 years, not many have thought about the idea of eating them.
Japanese Marushige Confectionery Company, however, thought outside the box and has come up with edible chopsticks.
These chop sticks are meant to be environmental friendly but apparently, they taste like furniture.
The chop stick is made with soft rush reeds, which is used to make floor mats in Japan.
Currently,These chopsticks are only being used in two restaurants as of now, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if more restaurants start using them.
