Should I eat Egg White or Egg Yolk? It’s a question that puzzles many but
Eggs are a good source of protein. Though most of us include it in our diet, we have a habit of either going with the egg white or the egg yolk. But the fact is, both these parts of the eggs are loaded with nutrients.
More than half of the protein of an egg is found in the egg white whereas vitamin B2 and lower amounts of fat and cholesterol are in the yolk.
The whites are rich sources of selenium, vitamin D, B6, B12 and minerals such as zinc, iron and copper. Egg yolk contains more calories and fat.
This versatile nature of egg makes it an ideal ingredient for most of your food items. So if you have a habit of keeping away eggs, it’s about time you reconsidered it.
