If you have the assumption that fish oil supplements have the ability to improve kids’ memory, prepare to be surprised.
Though the presence of Omega 3 acids in fish oil makes it a good food for kids, there is no scientific proof which suggests that fish oil can improve memory or intelligence.
“Fish oil or Omega-3 fatty acids are widely regarded as beneficial. However, the evidence on benefits for children’s learning and behavior is clearly not as strong as previously thought,” said Thees Spreckelsen, researcher at University of Oxford in England.
A study was conducted to figure the relationship between fish oil and memory but it showed that there is no apparent relationship between the two.
