Food delivery apps are banned in this school

Granite Bay High School in Placer County, Sacramento has placed a permanent ban on food delivary applications, in turn forcing the students to carry food from home itself or take it from the cafeteria.

The ban was imposed because the school officials were left searching in different halls for the students that ordered the food.

“We can’t manage it, and we shouldn’t manage it. It’s not our job to find a kid and make sure he knows his lunch is here. We had to stop what we’re doing, check them in and find the kid whose food it was. We’re not equipped to deal with that. It’s a disruption.” said Principal Jennifer Leighton.
