This food entrepreneur turns unwanted vegetables into Hummus

With the food wastage becoming an alarming issue in the food industry, London-based Food entrepreneur Hannah McCollum has come up with the idea of turning waste vegetables into hummus.

We waste around 40 percent of our crops due to small defects and Hannah has come up with the idea of solving this problem. She is currently crowd funding her campaign to scale the production

“I’m doing my part. But it’s only a small scale. I know there are farmers with crops that I can take and support. But there’s so much.” She said.
