Food or Fashion? Here’s what teenagers spent most on

Give it a guess. What do you think teenagers will be spending most on? Food or fashion?

Whatever your answer might be, according to a new study conducted by CNBC, teenagers are spending more money on food than on clothing.

The study reveals that the teenagers spend around 24% of their money on food while only spending 4% on clothes. One of the reasons for this shift is because of the social interaction that comes along with eating outside.

“This is a generation that’s hungry for social interaction. It’s more about the experience. They’re finding a way to build relationships with one another through sharing a meal together.” A psychologist noted.
