Food industry is marketing kids to death, according to studies

The Heart and Stroke foundation of Canada has come out with a new results showing that the food and drinks industry is marketing unhealthy products in a large magnitude.

Around 90 per cent of food and beverages product advertisements promote unhealthy food and this is turning out to be a major concern. The study suggest that children between the age of 2 and 11 sees around 25 million food advertisements per year and this is excluding the websites that they visit on the internet.
