Here is what foodies should avoid when in Rhode Island

The people in Rhode Island have been asked to remove potential food sources from their properties due to the threat of black bears. The black bears are emerging from hibernation and the chances of them visiting bird feeders, beehives, chicken coops and other food sources are high.

The authorities have also warned foodies from throwing away their food on rural areas as it could attract the bears as well. Electric fencing around the chicken coops is another recommendation suggested by the Rhode Island Department of Environment Management.
