Are you going bald? Try rubbing wasabi on your head

Japanese wasabi company Kinin are claiming that the chemicals found in wasabi can help in hair growth. They also claim that the chemicals found in the plant can help a person to grow hair faster than current existing hair-loss remedies in the market.

There is, however, no scientific backing on the claim made by the company. Kinin claims that mainly two chemicals in the Wasabi helps in hair growth, isosaponarin and 6-MSITC. The first one was earlier found to aid human collagen production while 6-MSITC was proven to inhibit breast cancer cell growth.
