In India, you can now refuse to pay service charge at restaurants

A huge move from Indian government

If you are not satisfied with the service that a particular restaurant has given you in India, you can now refuse to pay the service charges.

The move was made by the Indian government after receiving several complaints and the government has ordered restaurants not to add mandatory service charges.

Most of the restaurants have the habit of adding service charge directly to the bill but a major portion of the staff from restaurants have complained that the service charged never reach them. The advisory was issued on Monday and is bound to make matters better for foodies that love to eat outside.
