Keto Diet: What you should know before starting

The popularity of Keto Diet is on
the rise these days. A lot of people see it as the best way to shed some
pounds. For the uninitiated, it is a high-fat, low-carb diet that can help in
the process of losing weight.

But before starting such a diet, you will have to keep certain things in your mind.

First of all, you will still have
to count the calories. Though Keto helps you cut the weight, it is important to
keep track of your Base Metabolic Rate (BMR). Similarly, cheat days are a
strict no-no in this case.

If you go beyond the plan for
even one day, it can make you gain weight.

Your willingness to get into the
kitchen will also be tested when you take up this diet. If you are lazy and
don’t love the whole process of cooking, its better you stay away from
Keto.  Lastly, plan your meals properly.
Not having a proper meal plan can also end up backfiring on you.
