Middle Eastern restaurant in Montreal is giving free food, and they are going viral

Marche Ferdous, a Middle Eastern restaurant in Montreal is going viral for the right reason. The restaurant recently set up a new sign and it is winning hearts.

“People with no money welcome to eat free,” the sign reads.

The restaurant has been serving dishes like chicken shawarma, sandwiches and others to the needy and has been a talking point among the foodies in Montreal.

 “We believe in giving to the poor and to the needy. It’s breaking our heart to see some hungry people [that] don’t have money to eat. Hunger is something that touches the dignity of humanity,” said Ala Amiry who is the co-owner of the restaurant.

Some of the Montreal natives has been donating money to the restaurant as well to aid the cause.
