Migrant workers are paid to stand in line for this BBQ pork

The people in Singapore usually go crazy about Barbeque pork around this time of the year. With long lines being formed to get a bite of the dish, some people are making use of foreign immigrants to get the job done.

People standing in the queue are apparently paid around $3.50 per hour and while one portion thinks it’s a right thing, there are others that suggest it should not be done.

“Foreign workers can hardly say no to their bosses because their employment is dependent on the goodwill of their employers,” Jolovan Wham of the Humanitarian Organisation for Migration Economics pointed out.
