According to a new research, you don’t have to sacrifice your favorite food items or skip meals to lose weight. The research suggests that you can get rid of the extra pounds by mindful eating.
Dr. Carolyn Dunn, the head of the Department of Youth, Family, and Community Sciences at North Carolina State University, notes that if you eat by only concentrating on the food, you can lose weight.
She says that if we engage in any other activities like watching Television while eating, we might eat more than what we need. However, if we eat mindfully, we would be satisfied with a lesser amount of food.
