If you are planning to climb Mount Everest in December, don’t worry about your food. James Sharman, who is an ex-Noma chef, is planning to set up a pop-up restaurant in the Everest base camp.
The 14-day adventure kicks off at Katmandu on December 10, from where they trek to mountain. Currently only 15 reservations are taken.
17,500 feet above sea level
The trip covers food and drinks for around $1,050 including a meal which will be cooked at 17,500 feet above the sea level. The team plans to return on December 23.
Sharman currently has a plan to set up 20 pop-up restaurants in 20 countries in the span of 20 months.
