Not eating after evening can help you live longer

A new set of studies has shown that fasting in middle age or not eating food after dark could lead to a longer life.

The tests were carried out on monkeys and the ones that did not eat after 5 PM showed extension in their lives by 10 per cent compared to the others that ate normally. With us having around 93 per cent of the same genes as monkeys, the study reached a conclusion that it could be applied to humans as well.

The study also suggests that cutting calories could delay ageing.
