People are confused about healthy food, a study suggests

A new study has found that people in the United States are confused about what food is ‘healthy’ for them.  The situation is apparently due to the conflicting information that they come across about what to eat and what not to eat.

“I wasn’t that surprised to see that 78% reported that they encountered conflicting information, but our follow-up question to that had, I think, a really interesting data point in it, and that was that about half — so around 56% — say that this conflicting information causes them to doubt the choices that they’re making,” the co-author of the study noted.

This conflicting information is apparently making people to second guess on what is healthy for them.
