Pollution: Here is a tea you can drink for resistance

The amount of pollution in the world is rising at a rapid rate. Although our species are known to adapt quickly to the surroundings, it’s always better to take an extra step and ensure that we have done our part.

One such thing you can do is build up your resistance against pollution. You can do this in many ways and one among this is the consumption of Ginger Infused herbal tea.

The tea is made up of ingredients such as Ginger, Cinnamon, Black Pepper, and honey which are known to improve one’s immunity. Most of them are filled with anti-oxidants and has anti-bacterial properties as well. Below are the steps to make the tea courtesy of NDTV.

  • In a vessel, take a cup of water. Add to it half a teaspoon of dried ginger powder. One cinnamon stick, half a teaspoon of crushed black pepper powder, 1-2 cardamom pods and bring it to boil.
  • Let it steep for a minute.
  • Switch off the stove. Let it cool, add a pinch of honey for taste.

While this works well, this is still a paper on the crack when it comes to the whole picture. It’s us that need to make a bigger change and make sure that we are not doing our part in polluting the world. As they say, prevention is better than cure.
