Quinoa is becoming a rich people’s food

The price of Quinoa has seen a huge rise over the past decade. The price tripled from 2006 to 2016 and this has made it unaffordable to the lower strata of the society.

As Quinoa is high with nutrients ad is gluten-free, the demand is not lowering anytime soon and to make it affordable to everyone, scientists have now come up with a quinoa genome. The grain has not been the focus of many researches but the new finding has managed to stir up the research world considering the rise of prices has been high.
