Scientists looking to breed new tomatoes with more flavour

Not having enough flavours in your tomatoes is a problem that some foodies might’ve probably come across. And for most of the cases rises from tomatoes which are kept in the supermarkets.

The scientists mapped the genome of tomato and they were able to find out how different version of the tomato DNA impacts the flavour. The flavour packing genes were recognized and they are confident of making a flavour rich tomato breed in the next five years.
