Should we drink water after food?
All of us have come across this question at one point or the other. And most of us still gulp down a big glass of water after food. But is it healthy?
Well, apparently not. According to studies, drinking water right after your meal can dilute your digestive juices. This, in turn, can impact the absorption of nutrients into your body. It is recommended to wait at least 30 minutes to one hour before drinking water after your meals.
Also, it is recommended to drink one glass of water 30 minutes before your meal as it aids digestion.
