Soy food might increase survival chances for Breast Cancer patients

According to a new study by Cancer Prevention Institute of California, eating soy based food might improve the chances of survival in women who are diagnosed with breast cancers.

There was a popular belief that eating too much soy food can result in breast cancer but the study contradicts this and claims that soy food not only reduces the chances of breast cancer but also helps people who are suffering from such diseases.

The component called isoflavones which is found in Soy reduced the risk of dying in women with cancer by around 21 per cent.
