Starbucks to add more items to its menu in 2017

Starbucks with ambitious expansion plans

Starbucks is set to expand their business and add items to its menu. The company is looking to open in 12,000 new locations in the next five years, increasing the number by 50 percent.

The food chain will also boost their menu. Organic soups, gluten-free breakfast, sandwiches and wheat-free cooked egg products will be added to the menu next year.

China to over take US?

In a bold move, the company also expects to see China as its biggest market in the coming years. This in turn would result in China overtaking United States. The extension plan was laid out to the investors after the step down of former CEO Howard Schultz.
