Starbucks to focus on lunch

According to Starbucks CFO Scott Maw, Lunch is going to be a huge priority for the chain going forward.

The idea is to attract more customers who want food as a large share of the revenue had been flowing through food sales.

“It’s all about providing higher-quality, fresh food at lunch,” Maw told CNBC.

Around 20 per cent of Starbucks’ revenue comes from food and Maw feels that there is room for improvement.
