Figuring out whether a particular food item has gone bad or not is often a headache. And this applies to milk as well. While milk covers all the nutrient needs that our body has, it can also end up harming us big time if it has gone bad.
There are, however, some tricks that we can use to check if the milk is good to drink.
The first thing you should do is: trust your senses. Smell the milk and if it has any unpleasant odour, it’s a clear indication that you should avoid using it. Checking the texture of the milk is another thing you can try out. If the milk curdles when you pour into a glass, it’s better not to drink it.
Lastly, if the milk does not have a clear-cut white colour and has shades of yellow on it, your milk has gone bad.
