Huge bid for the fish

Tokyo’s Tsukiji Fish Market saw a huge payout for the Pacific Bluefin Tuna recently. Owner of Sushizanmai restaurant chain, Kiyoshi Kimura roped in the fish at a whopping price of $614,000 and made it to the headlines.

This is the sixth straight year that the restaurant chain is winning the bid and this time, the fish had weighed in at 467 pounds.

This could be the last major auction held at the legendary fish market as it is all set to be relocated for the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic games.
