Every year, the Centre of Science in the Public interest comes up with its Xtreme Food Awards. The awards take a fun yet serious take on all the unhealthy food items that are being promoted across the food chains in America.
Designed like the Oscars, the awards are given out in various categories with an example being ‘Worst Cheese in a Leading Role’. On a serious note, the awards also give us an idea of the unhealthiest food items out there.
As per this year’s winners, the Pasta Napoletana Entrée from The Cheesecake factory captured the attention with around 2,310 calories and 79 grams of saturated fat. Similarly, the Flying Gorilla cocktail from Cheesecake factory with 950 calories and 26 grams of saturated fat was close behind.
