Unilever is looking to make a huge sale of its food brands

Unilever is planning to make a huge $ 7.44 Billion sale of some of its food brands. This could include the sale of Flora Margarine and stork butter brands according to the British newspapers.

The intention behind the potential sales is still a mystery but there are claims that the company is doing business reviews and this could mean aggressive cost cuts and acquisitions. A lot of companies including private equity firms Bain Capital, CVC and Clayton Dubilier and Rice have apparently started to work on the offers.
