Using aluminium foil with food items is a common practice. But it could become a health hazard. Though aluminium is a mainstay in the food items that we consume, there is a limit that needs to be kept.
The World Health Organisation has suggested that only an intake of 40mg per kilogram of body weight is the safety limit. This is the amount that our body can expel through digestion and the excess usage of aluminium foils could result in the exceeding of this acceptable amount. So it would be good if a tab in kept on the amount of cooking that happens with Aluminium foil.
