Younger generation prefers readymade food rather than cooking

The younger generation, aged between 18 and 24, prefers to rely on convenience meals rather than cooking. The research carried out on a YouGov survey in United Kingdom is what gave such a conclusion.

The younger generation rely more on fast food items when compared to people over 65. Another part of the report also suggested that women prefer buying food instead of cooking them. The habit has, however, resulted in an intake of around 200 or 300 calories on a daily basis and this has in turn increased the risk of obesity in the nation.
