The workers of this company can buy food with the microchips in their body

In what proved to be a futuristic move, a company in Wisconsin has decided to microchip around 50 of its employees. The employees have volunteered to allow a small microchip to be embedded under their skin with which they can do a lot of things.

And this includes buying food from canteen. The Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) can also be used to open doors, access areas and much more.

“We foresee the use of RFID technology to drive everything from making purchases in our office break room market, opening doors, use of copy machines, logging into our office computers, unlocking phones, sharing business cards, storing medical/health information, and used as payment at other RFID terminals” Todd Westby, CEO of the company said.
