The Fruits and Vegetables are less nutritious these days, study suggests

You might not be eating the same fruits that your grandparents ate back in their days. A recent study has shown that the nutritious value of fruits and vegetables have undergone a drastic change over the past fifty years.

Published on the HortScience journal, the study suggests that the fruits and vegetables are less nutritious these days. For instance, you would’ve gotten a certain amount of Vitamin A if you ate one orange fifty years back. To get the same amount of Vitamin A now, you might have to eat eight oranges.

This is how much the value has changed over the years. So if you want benefits of the green food in your body, it’s time that you increased the intake.
