Cookies are not allowed in space, here’s why

Have a dream of eating cookie or bread in space? Well, we’ve got some bad news for you. According to the people at NASA, cookies, and bread crumbs are not allowed in space.

The reason for this is the crumbs that bread and cookies have. The little crumbs that fall from this kind of food items can go into the spacecraft’s zero-gravity conditions and cause a lot of problems. Thus to avoid these, such food items are usually banned from space missions.

While it might sound like a pleasant food on earth, out there in the space, even a cookie crumb can be dangerous.
