Have diabetes? Try cooking with canola oil

Keeping a tab on your diet is one of the most important things when it comes to diabetes. Anything and everything that you eat will have an impact on your blood sugar levels. So, we should decide what to keep away and what to include in your daily diet.

For instance, replacing the regular cooking oil with canola oil can actually help you during the condition. Derived from the rapeseed plant, the canola oil is rich in omega-3 fatty acid which comes in the form of alpha-linolenic acid.

“A study conducted by Dr. David Jenkins from the University of Toronto showed that canola oil helps in lowering blood sugar levels and bad cholesterol in people with type 2 diabetes.” A report noted
