Chocolate actually fights against tooth decay, study suggests

Consuming chocolate is often considered to be bad for your health. Many people suggest that it can harm your teeth but research has shown that chocolate has an opposite impact on our teeth.

A study carried out by researchers at Osaka University in Japan found that some components in the cocoa bean have the ability to combat tooth decay. They even went on to suggest that these components could be added to mouthwash or toothpaste in the near future.

This is due to the anti-bacterial property that the cocoa beans carry.
